The monitor is a disciplined briefing surface: establish what changed, inspect whether the comparison is valid, then test explanations against product, geography, entry, conduct, price, quality, and policy evidence.

    Keep the metric, values, period labels, and years between observations together.

    Inspect the underlying market trend, strict Census pairs, geographic history, business-dynamics series, or HSR annual records and their sources.

    Use the research question to seek mechanisms and outcomes without treating sequence as causation.

Every signal compares declared observed anchors inside the same series or cross-section. Missing years are not interpolated, intervals are not annualized, and market, industry, geographic, business-flow, and merger measures keep separate units, universes, period bases, and legal meanings. Antitrust Radar does not combine them into a composite competition score.
