Pairing boundaryState banking indicators are computed from 2025 FDIC Summary of Deposits branch balances grouped to the reported top holding company when available. They are statewide deposit screens, not local banking-market definitions, and do not cover every banking product. Association between the two measures is mechanical context, not a finding about competition or consumer outcomes.
